Sometimes you just outgrow a traditional hosting plan and you need a dedicated server. A dedicated server will give you more space, more bandwidth and more control of your hosting environment. Dedicated servers can be leased in a number of different configurations and with a variety of support options. The larger the server and the more support, the higher the cost. Dedicated servers are managed through a control panel very similar to all of our hosting control panels. The difference is that the control panel for a dedicated server gives you access to many more options and configuration settings.

We do not offer bare bones dedicated servers that you have to configure and manage. We offer fully managed servers that come online secure and ready to use.

What is a Linux VDC? 

A Linux VDC (Virtual Dedicated Cluster) gives you a Dedicated Server while still benefiting from the benefits of a clustered environment.  We provide you a FULLY managed dedicated server containing dedicated web, email and mysql services plugged into our cluster.  By offloading services like Control Panel and DSN onto our cluster, your server will maintain more resources for operating your web site.  This solution allows you to operate a dedicated server just like a large shared or hosting account, with absolutely no server admin experience required.  Trailhead Web Hosting will manage, secure and support the server for you, just as if you were in a shared hosting account.
